Adventuring L.A. with my 1st born

My 1st born came to visit me and we went on an affordable week adventure around L.A., our first stop was the Museum of Illusions

We had so much fun taking these pictures. We really got into character, two great actors, I must admit!

She was determined to have a drink with Snoop Doggie Dog.

Nothing is ever really what it appears to be.

Two Angels and a city of Angels!

If you live in Los Angeles, or plan on visiting soon,  go visit the Museum of Illusions.  The cost to enter is $25. if you are a student you can get a $5. discount when you present your school ID. It’s best to go with someone to take pictures. There will be people there who are willing to take your pictures, if you feel comfortable asking.

With both of us being water signs ( birthdays 11/22 & 11/26) we had to do a water activity.  So we went to Echo Park and enjoyed a ride on the Swan boat.

Riding the Swan boat was relaxing and exciting. There are real ducks in the water, they are not afraid to come up to the side of the boat. One scared my daughter and I. The scenery at Echo Park is beautiful. If riding the boat isn’t your thing, you can still have an amazing time there. Its a lot to see! You can have a picnic, walk around and enjoy the scenery or take some amazing pictures.

Renting the swam boat cost $11. per person for an hour. For more information click here Swan boat.

Our last adventure of the week was supporting the LGBT community at Venice Beach

Our last adventure of the week was totally free, we attended a LGBT event at Venice Beach. There were  people there from all walks of life and all ages. We had a great time singing and dancing in the street, celebrating with the LGBT community.
